Kent Village & Bulls Bridge

The quiet half of Kent is not a consolation prize after the waterfall. Bulls Bridge, Main Street shops, galleries, coffee, and dinner turn the outdoor day into an overnight village trip instead of a drive-by.

Village plan

Give Main Street its own block of time.

Kent’s village center rewards an unhurried block of time: House of Books, galleries and studios, cafés, small shops, and enough restaurant choice to make dinner part of the trip. Walk it after a trail or falls visit, when the day can slow down instead of demanding another drive.

Bulls Bridge adds the famous covered-bridge note nearby. Treat it as a scenic punctuation mark, not a whole afternoon by itself: water, wood, photos, then back toward town or onward through the Housatonic Valley.

Bookshop and gallery hour

Useful before dinner or on a damp afternoon when the trail plan shrinks.

Bulls Bridge stop

Best with daylight and patience; watch footing around rocks and water.

Dinner near town

Book the meal you care about before assuming a small village will absorb every last-minute plan.
